Did Atheism loose morals cause 911?

“We’re clearly in a new era,” the conservative pundit Dinesh D’Souza told a mostly full auditorium at Skyview High School Wednesday night. “The first is the rise of radical Islam. But we have another phenomenon. That is the rise of militant atheism.”
Not your rumpled shirt ACLU lawyer kind of atheism, either, D’Souza said. But the kind of atheism linked with loose morals perpetrated by Hollywood films. And for that reason, the World Trade Center was attacked on 9/11, he claimed.
“I want to argue that it is atheism and moral permissiveness that have to do with the war on terror,” D’Souza said.

Dinesh D’Souza served as the senior policy analyst in Ronald Reagan’s White House from 1987 to 1988.
It is a common tactic of conservatives to accuse the other side of the exact crimes that they are guilty of - no matter how ridiculous the association.
But lets call it what it is: Hate Speech
